This past year has been very wet and therefore has encouraged many different species of Fungi on our reserve.

Amongst them has been an amazing find of the common, but rarely seen fungi, `Earth Star`.   A very beautiful fungi which is part of the puff ball species.   32 of them in fact, which had never been found here before.   Usually found on the forest floors among the decaying matter.  We hope we can see them again this next Autumn.
